During the inception of the No Excuses Summit, Mike Dillard banded the speakers together and proposed that we make NES a "NO PITCH" event.

The purpose of the No Excuses Summit would be to give back to our customers to say "Thank You". Anything monetary gain would be a by-product, but not the focus of the event.

By literally giving up on the opportunity to make millions, "true colors" were shown. Some speakers dropped out. Some speakers reluctantly did the event. However, the majority of our superstars thought it was a magnificent idea!

Despite giving up the opportunity to make over 1 million dollars in one weekend, Ray and I loved the proposal and strictly forbade pitching of any kind from stage. 100% content only!

A New "WIN-WIN" Live Event Model

You see, in the "internet marketing" niche, seminars of this caliber will sell for $2,000 - $3,000 per ticket AND speakers are still allowed to deliver sales pitches from stage. And we have no problem with that since we've gained value from these events as well, but we were out to redefine how live events were done and create a new live event model!

Long story short, NES1 was a massive success with the "giving back" purpose being fulfilled and then some!

Half way through the event, we had people approaching us, some literally crying... so thankful for the value we arranged for them to have for a ticket price which basically covered the cost of the venue, production and rooms for the speakers.

No profit was made from the event and not a single speaker sold anything from stage. 100% value!

One gentleman approached us and said, "You know you guys could have charged $5,000 per ticket for this, right?"

Our response, "We know."
